Susan Scullion, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Scullion has over 14 years of experience in the securities industry. Prior to joining AltaCorp, she spent seven years with Mackie Research Capital Corp. and its predecessor, J.F. Mackie & Company Ltd. as Senior Vice President of the Calgary Private Client Division (with Mackie Research) and Chief Financial Officer (with J.F. Mackie). Prior thereto, Ms. Scullion consulted with various investment firms in Calgary as a Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, she spent six years working with the Investment Dealers Association and the Alberta Stock Exchange, overseeing the regulation of approximately 18 investment firms throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba as the Manager of Financial Compliance. Ms. Scullion holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) from the University of Calgary, and is a Chartered Accountant. Outside of business, Ms. Scullion is on the Board of Directors of Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, a professional jazz dance company located in Calgary.
Govind Achyuthan
Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Achyuthan has over 18 years experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining AltaCorp Capital in 2011, he spent 3 years as Compliance Officer at First Energy Capital and prior to that, 3 years as an examiner at the Mutual Fund Dealers Association. Mr. Achyuthan also has 10 years experience in the financial industry in the capacities of Registered Representative and Financial Advisor at a major Canadian bank. Mr. Achyuthan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is a CFA charterholder.
Rita Sivadas
Operations Manager
Ms. Sivadas has over 17 years experience in trade operations and execution. Prior to joining AltaCorp, she was Manager, Operations for Tristone Capital from its inception in 2002, until 2010. Prior thereto, Ms. Sivadas spent over seven years at Peters & Co with the Syndication & Operation Department.
