Gurdeep Gill, CFA

Prior to joining AltaCorp, Mr. Gill worked in the Corporate & Investment Banking group for a major chartered bank in Calgary. Prior to that, Mr. Gill was Vice President, Investment Banking at Tristone Capital Inc. from 2003 to 2008, and prior thereto was involved with a Calgary-based hedge fund. Mr. Gill holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Finance (Honours), and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Calgary. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Chris Gindl
Managing Director, Investment Banking

Mr. Gindl has over 10 years of oilfield services experience working both in the private and public corporate side and in the capital markets. Prior to joining AltaCorp, Mr. Gindl was VP of Corporate Development for Tarpon Energy Services Ltd., a private Calgary based oilfield service company from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, he held positions at various capital market dealers in oilfield services research, including Dundee Securities for 2 years. Prior thereto Mr. Gindl worked as a corporate and product line analyst at Precision Drilling and ran an oilfield services industrial coating business in Ecuador from 2001 to 2004. Mr. Gindl has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Calgary.
Lee Girardo, CFA

Prior to joining AltaCorp, Mr. Girardo worked at Scotia Capital / Scotia Waterous in the investment banking group from 2001 to 2011, where he held progressively senior investment banking roles, focusing on the energy sector. He has experience executing a broad range of financial transactions including merger and acquisition advisory assignments, valuations and fairness opinions, equity and debt financings. Mr. Girardo holds a Bachelor of International Business Management degree from the University of Victoria, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Alfred Sailer
Managing Director, Investment Banking

Prior to joining AltaCorp Capital, Mr. Sailer was Vice President, Investment Banking at Acumen Capital Partners, a Calgary-based investment dealer. During his 14 years at Acumen, he acted in an advisory capacity to numerous private and publicly listed companies, and directly managed and co-managed over $3 billion in equity financings. Mr. Sailer holds a BSc in Pharmacy (with distinction) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, both from the University of Alberta. He also holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Calgary, and has completed an Executive Leader Program on Corporate Governance from Harvard Business School. Mr. Sailer has served as a director of Science Alberta Foundation, is a founding director of BioAlberta, a member of the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research’s Forefront Investment Committee, and on University Technologies International Advisory Council (U of C). Outside of business, Mr. Sailer is currently President of Cache Estates’ Strata Council, and continues to volunteer with numerous programs in Calgary including: “Feed the Hungry”, “Ride to Conquer Cancer”, and Rideau Park Community Association’s fundraising events.
Bill Murray, CFA

Mr. Murray is a 15-year veteran investment banker with a track record of developing strong business relationships and leading franchises. His primary focus at AltaCorp is building on the firm’s strong presence in the Agriculture sector. Prior to joining AltaCorp, Mr. Murray spent over 4 years at Raymond James Ltd and PI Financial Corp. as Managing Director covering Industrial and Consumer Products companies in Canada and Internationally with a particular focus in the Infrastructure, Aerospace and Transportation sectors. From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Murray was a Managing Director/Partner at Versant Partners where he was active in financing and advising clients on more than a hundred transactions in a wide range of sectors, nearly half as lead manager. Mr. Murray began his investment banking career in 1995 at First Marathon Securities Ltd where he worked for over 5 years, including after it was acquired by National Bank. Mr. Murray holds a B.A. in Business Administration (high distinction) from the University of Nebraska and an MBA (distinction) from McGill University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Matt Colucci
Director, Investment Banking
Prior to joining AltaCorp, Mr. Colucci held positions in the Investment Banking groups at Westwind Partners, Thomas Weisel Partners and Stifel Nicolaus in Calgary and London, UK from 2005 to 2011. During this time he focused on coverage of the North American and international oil and gas sectors as well as the oilfield services sector. Prior thereto, Mr. Colucci worked in the Financial Services department at TD Financial Group. Holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance) from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
Patrick Stables
Associate, Investment Banking
Prior to joining AltaCorp, Mr. Stables was an Investment Banking Analyst with Thomas Weisel Partners/Stifel Nicolaus, where he focused primarily on E&P and Oilfield Services. Prior to that, he worked in the Private Investment Advice division of TD Waterhouse. Mr. Stables holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance Degree from Mount Royal University and is a CFA level II candidate.
Jesse Hardage
Analyst, Investment Banking
Prior to joining AltaCorp Capital in 2011, Mr. Hardage held positions in both research and investment banking over a period of 2 years at a leading Canadian investment bank. Mr. Hardage holds a Masters of Economics from the University of Hong Kong, and a BA in Economics from the University of Calgary. He is currently a level II candidate in the CFA program.
Ralph Lee
Analyst, Investment Banking
Prior to joining AltaCorp, Mr. Lee was an associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked in the Consulting and Deals practice over a period of 2 years. Prior to that, he interned in an equity research focused investment dealer in Seoul, South Korea as a research associate, and Suncor Energy as an operational junior accountant. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance) from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
